7. Account Deletion and Data Retention

7.1 Deleting Your Account

You may choose to delete your account and associated personal data at any time directly within the App.

7.2 How to Delete Your Account

To delete your account:

  • Open the Itemli app and navigate to More > My Account.
  • Under Advanced, tap Delete Account.
  • Confirm the action to complete the deletion request.

7.3 Data Retention Following Deletion

Upon confirmation of your deletion request, your account will be immediately deactivated. We will permanently delete or anonymize your inventory data, photographs, and profile information from our active databases within thirty (30) days, except where we are legally required to retain certain transaction or compliance data for a longer period.

8. Children's Privacy

8.1 Age Restrictions

The Service is NOT intended for children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete the information promptly, terminate the child's account, and notify the child's parent or guardian.

8.2 Compliance

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), GDPR's special provisions for children, UK ICO guidance, and similar laws worldwide.
